hi i need help how the the way is to switch the audio output from digital (HDMI) to
analog audio with the HTTP API.

I USE xbmc 9.11
Ubuntu 10.10

the background is that i have setup a 5 room multiroom xbmc installation with only one server with 2 tv card.

everything works fine but for the use to play the same music on all 5 rooms i need to switch from digital output to analog that this could work with my receiver.

i need it from the http api becouse we controll all stuff from iphone, android and python frontend.

please help.

you could output digital and analog at the same time with alsa settings.
gnome-volume-control should do this.

a little testing and everything is working fine.

if somebody wan't to do the same mute microphone it remove the background noise.
