WMA Lossless Playback Fails with Dharma RC1

Thanks for your constructive approach. Every developer does this for free in their own time, yet you come back here to complain every time ?
Why not program it yourself or at least find out what the exact reason is it will not work. Hint: all the source code is public.

Or use FLAC which is supported fine.

WMA Lossless looks to be now supported in ffmpeg, see http://ffmpeg.org/general.html#Audio-Codecs, so with the bump to ffmpeg version 1.2 it maybe possible now to introduce support, it would still need a dev with the time to take a look to see if it could be integrated.

How about doing a post in the Feature Suggestion part of the forum if this is important to you, but remember to ask nicely as all work on XBMC is voluntary and anyone appearing to demand that something must be done usually doesn't get anywhere.

it kinda works for 16bit wma losless in xbmc 13 with newer ffmpeg.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

Hi everybody. Laugh

If I understand correctly, in the next version of XBMC there will be support WMA lossless ?

For information, I use XBMC and Subsonic on the same PC. With subsonic, I support WMA Lossless. I still have more than XBMC. Big Grin
Look at the following post for configuration Subsonic with WMA Lossless: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8440

Thanks for response.
