XBMC Live on zotac zbox hd-id40 plus, additional drivers?
#1
Hi,

I received yesterday my zotac zbox hd-id40 plus, fency boxCool

I have download the current stable xbmc live release: camelot, and installed xbmc live on the internal HDD.
Xbmc seems to working fineBig Grin
My zotac is currently connected to a pc lcd screen with the vga convertor included.
Later today, i will connect the zotac with hdmi to my lcd tv.

Do i have to install additional drivers, make some changes,... for audio, video?
Install a beta release? or is this setup correct for this type of zotac with the new nvidia chip?

thx

You will need Dharma to get HDMI audio to work on the Live CD.

Does this box have a fan? If yes it is noisy?

Cheers,
David

edit:
oh i see in the product information there is one...
Why can that Shuttle XSG35GT work without fan and the Zotac boxes still has one!?

Shuttle has plenty of metal, Zotac´s almost entirely made of plastic. That´s the difference. Just got my XS35GT to replace ZBOX, it´s much heavier and runs much cooler than ZBOX. I also like the design better... Just need to get SSD for this.
