Hi all it has been a while since i have use xbmc looking great.
My problem is this. When i scan my movies xbmc makes a thumbnail of the file and not download the cover. My file system is as followed.
Movies/Moviename(year)/moviefile.avi and folder.jpg and backdrop.jpg and mymovies.xml I dont really want to remove any of this is there any way to get xbmc to read the xml which is created by metabrowser.exe.

Also i dont get any season covers in tv shows ?? thanks again.

Using Night Skin
go to settings_> SKIN_> Movies/TV_>

Enable/Select
Use Postes for TV Section

I've seen it in other skins as well, I'm just using Night right now.


Scrapers Setup
For movies:
go to settings_> Addons_> Enabled Add-ons_> Movie information_> select IMDB

go to configure and choose "Enable Posters etc..." if you use Dharma RC1 you will find 3 different poster sources you can select them all if you want.


For TV SHOWS:
go to settings_> Addons_> Enabled Add-ons_> TV information_> select The TVDB

go to configure and choose "Prefer Posters".

You are really complicating things for yourself.

Well for movies I use one folder which is called Movies\ and every single movie in this folder avi's mkv's etc.. These days XBMC can scrape media info very well but I can understand if you are using another app to manage your media for some reason. For me all is done perfectly by XBMC no need for media managers.

Same for TV shows, if you use this style you will not have a problem at all, example below:
\TV Shows\Burn Notice\Burn Notice Season 01\Burn Notice.S01E01.Pilot.avi
