Hi,
I'm trying to get menu sounds to play via HDMI with my Revo. I'm using Dharma live beta, so HDMI sound works out of the box when playing movies.
I'm told sticking this in .asoundrc will do the trick:
I have tried that with no luck.
A couple of queries:
1) There's a lot of code already in .asoundrc that looks as if it's to do with Dharma's audio mixer plugin. I assume I can just add this code at the very top of the file?
2) Here's a weird one... If I edit .asoundrc, save and reload it in nano, it appears fine. If I try the new settings, reboot, then open the file, the ! and " in my script seem to have been replace with spaces or non-printing characters. Anyone else seen this, and will it affect my results?
