I want to scrape some VIDEO_TS folders I have on-disk. From what I read on the forum xbmc wants it converted to a single file and will pick it up then.

So I tried makemkvcon but it won't convert because I have no optical disc. Any other cli options for Linux?

No need to convert anything.

Just name the folder "Movie Name (year)" and the scraper will pick it up.
