Confluence home screen question

Does anyone have a mod that will hide the home screen left menu? I am very new to XMBC and just starting to learn a little about it. I am assuming that one would modify the home.xml to accomplish this, correct? If anyone has info on this I sure would appreciate it!

Why do you want it hidden? You can drop it to the bottom of the screen. That can be changed in the settings. I haven't seen any mods that make the menu hide.

So that I can enjoy the background, when I wish, without the menu taking up 1/3 of the screen. Do you have a link to the mod to drop it to the bottom?

It can be fixed... maby I can fix it 4 u. One question, how would you like to hide it. With a button on the main menu or by stepping to the right?

You might want to try "Influence" as it allows you to see more of the fanart with the vertical menu and it also has horizontal menu already included

That would be great! I would want to hide it by stepping to the right. I would eventually like to learn how do mod skins so I would really appreciate it if after you made the mod, you would show me how you did it.
