[LINUX][LIVE] 5.1 sound card
#1
I'm a long time XBMC user and have been mostly using it under Mac OS X. I recently did an entire system overhaul.

The new system includes a proper 5.1 setup and I've switched to XBMC Live. SO after all this work I'm still living in a stereo world on XBMC. Sad

My motherboard sound is only stereo. So what PCI or PCIe card would be the best buy for linux 5.1 spdif support?

Downside is it's not low profile. So couldn't fit into a slimmer case. Overall no problems under linux with surround sound. Really not to many perks over the ones poofyhairyguy mentioned.
