maybe an xtreamer is right for your parents... header compression was fixed nearly instantly with newer firmwares, else it's nearly the same hardware as the asus oplay (realtek)

oh, thanks for the suggestion. I can't buy the xtreamer in any shop where I can see it, and after my experience I not confident enough.
They have quite an old laptop, so at the end I'll and after thinking about it, I'll just buy them a new one. This will be quite more expensive, but after thinking it right, they really deserve it and I can afford it.
