Save a video stream on my HDD
#1
I've just discovered XBMC (Windows) and i know this question must be frequent but I'd like to know if it's possible to save the video streaming I'm watching on my HDD.

I have no idea how XBMC works, i only add a plugin so far to watch streaming on a site so no technical terms if it's possible.

Thanks.

No. This is generally a breach of copyright and we have to stay the right side of the law.

Ok but what if I watch perfectly free streams (french streams on http:\\http://www.tou.tv.

In fact I don't need XBMC to watch them, I thought that this program could be useful to save the stream. I know there's a lot of site that can save youtube videos for example but those stream are much difficult to rip because there's pub in it and all this stuff.

If you know a program which does that, let me know please.

I already googled to find that. I found XBMC, thinking it could do the job.
There's stream which are simple to save (youtube, dailymotion, metacafe, etc.) and there's others which most stream savers cannot save.

I'm keeping searching, I'm not an I'm-waiting-for-help-from-others-cause-I'm-too-lazy-to-search whore.

Thanks.

I have found a tool from here
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...426AAabm8N, from its best answer I learn about Video Download Suite, then I try it. It is consistent with the publisher said. You can try it to save stream video on your HDD, maybe it is your proper tool you want to get.Nod
