Hello all!
I'm loving xbmc but I need some help.
I have searched the forums and I am hoping I'm posting this message in an appropriate place.
I'm running xbmc 10.1 Dharma, MAME Frontend 2.0.3. with MAME 0.144 (mame64.exe).
MAME seems to be working. I can launch it from Windows 7 x64 and I can load ROMS. MAME Frontend loads and sees the games but anytime I try to load a ROM I get the message:
or your game database is outdated.
Do you want to rebuild the database?
It looks like there might be more to that message but I can't see all of it.
If I say 'yes' it will rebuild the database in 3 steps (approx 4-5min) and seems to complete ok. But as soon as I try to load any ROM again I will get the same message. If I say 'no' the pop-up will go away and I'll be in the same place.
I have searched this forum and I can see some people have had the same question but I did not see a solution.
This is all I found:

For a short while it seemed to work for me. I know I loaded Strider from MAME Frontend... but I don't recall what I did since then that has gotten me this database message.
Let me know what other details might help.
I am very excited about this and I would love to get it working. Any help would be very appreciated!
TIA!
