I have an aac file downloaded from the BBC iPlayer using get_iplayer, and if I put this file in a directory on my server then navigate to it in file view XBMC hangs on opening the folder with the dialog "Loading media info from files". It does eventually show the files in the directory but takes about 30 seconds. If I put the file in a directory on the local disk then XBMC pauses for about 5 seconds on opeing the directory. Presumably the difference is the greater speed of the local disk.

Anyhow, the file is Fearne_Cotton_-_10_12_2010_b00wbtqd_default.aac and it can be downloaded from http://swarchive.ratsauce.co.uk/xbmc/ if anyone would like to try and reproduce the problem.

I use Dharma RC2 with Server 2008 R2. I haven't had a chance to test on Linux.
