Yep on board sound is a must.
I will update this thread once it is delivered and also how I am getting on.
Worst case scenario it isnt suitable and I go out and buy a revo. Still 4 bay server for £100 will still be worth it!

I have just ordered the Zotac GeForce GT 210, slightly cheaper, the way deliveries are over here at the moment it will probably arrive after xmas. Also ordered a HP IR reciever which will also probably take an age to arrive.
On a plus point the Microserver has arrived and initial impressions are good, not really much point getting started until the graphics card arrives. Ive taken some pics will upload tomorrow if i get chance.
I am going to stick with 1GB RAM for now to see how it copes.

Still not had time to upload some pics, my laptop died. I've had to strip it back clean the fan (HP6735s) and while I was there cleaned the processor and applied some silver thermal paste.
So as Vista had thrown a wobbler I restored the laptop but then decided thats a good time to swap over to Ubuntu, been meaning to do it for ages. Glad I did its Awesome!
As I used to use RSS feeds with Utorrent I need to figure that out next.
Another reason for installing Ubuntu is so I can install XBMC and have a play around while I am waiting for my graphics card for the Microserver.

Watch the temps for your system- you don't want to kill your HDs with that GPU heat. If you have to replace the case fan with an Antec Tri-Cool fan and leave that sucker on high. A loud computer is better than a dead computer...

I just installed one of these servers today, well windows server 2008 and all but interesting to note a couple of things:
1. The PSU has an additional fan, which is small and could potentially become noisy with time.
2. There is an available SATA port inside (in addition to the 4 drives), in case you want to hook-up an SSD in the CD-ROM bay with some adapters. You may need a sata cable with a 90 degree connector.
Other that I feel like I should order one of these for myself. I'm not sure what to use it for yet, but this is a lot of server certified hardware for £100. Build quality is excellent.

Couldn't help myself and ordered one of these as well to use it as a energy saving multipurpose home server for downloads, emails and family document sharing etc.
