Weird characters in skin

Using dharma RC2 and T! v3.11.1 I've started getting weird characters when in visualisation or using CD wall instead of vis, see pix:

They popup every ~30seconds and stay on screen for ~10 seconds before fading. Anyone have any idea what they are? AFAIK it only started happening a few hours ago and I've got no idea why. I've tried changing back to confluence and it doesn't happen there, just when using Transparency.

Not sure what the issue is, but for future reference you can hit print-screen to get a screen shot.

Sadly print screen is no longer working for me, ever since I installed RC2. Was working fine in RC1 and in the betas.

Finally figured the problem out after playing an artist that had been scanned to the database - it was trying to display the artist bio, but because none existed it was just putting those characters on the screen for 10secs/every 30secs.

Pressed the little 'i' in the on screen menu and the problem has gone away.
