Control my xbmc-machine with my laptop? Is it possibe?

Hi.

I wonder if its possible to remotely control xbmc on my htpc with my laptop, thrue my wireless network? Like the remote addons for iphone and android phones.

I have the harmony one remote set up pretty good, but it would have been nice to use my laptop as a supplement.

Maybe I could get rid of the wireless mouse and keyboard whos messing up my wife`s coffe table

I have windows 7and dharma rc2 installed on both the htpc and the laptop.

Yep, the web interface.

XBMC Settings
-> Go to Settings-Network-Services
-> Enable "Allow control of XBMC via HTTP"
-> Under "Web interface" select AWX

Finding out your HTPCs network IP
-> Go to the Start menu and write "cmd" in the instant search function. Them select cmd.exe from the list and click on it
-> Type "ipconfig" and hit enter.
-> A list of all your ethernet adapters, wired and wireless will be presented. Look up the IP on the adapter you are using for your home network connection. Generally it looks something like 192.168.1.101 . Write it down or smth

Using AWX on your laptop/desktop
-> Open up a web browser (Firefox/IE/Chrome etc.) and type http://"your HTPC IP" where your HTPC IP is the ip youfound out earlier, and hit enter.
-> Now you will get the AWX interface, from which you can control the XBMC video/audio sections, including starting/stopping playback etc. You can bookmark the adress so you don`t have to type the IP each time.

Its working well and very easy to get up running, but what I really wish is the possibility to actually se a "clone" of my htpc`s xbmc screen on my laptop and use the laptop`s mouse and keyboard to navigate thrue xbmc. Then I have all the possibilities ( all the functions that follows with AWX plus I could change settings in my htpc`s xbmc, scrape media, test addons and all that kind of things at the same time as other in my house could use the tv) if you know what I mean
Anyway, I still mean that the AWX addon does most of the job, and Im sure gonna test it out.

This one looks like a good idea to share the mouse and keyboard, but I still have to have the tv turned on.

Well, if you want to do it without the TV turned on (then I miss the point)
There's VNC or X11 forwarding.
