Tiben would it be possible for your to compile another build with the images fixed? I would do it my self but the bat file to build a setup for xbmc keeps throwing errors at me.

First off a massive thank you to Anarchintosh & everybody else who's been helping this along. I've been watching this since the first day you posted it an have been holding my tongue but seriously this is turning out to be the most used by far not just in my home but with many of my friends and family as well. Hell even my grandmother can grab the remote an use this without any problems! Props++ Big Grin

crooksy Wrote:You could try going into the plugin and favorites data via the file manager in XBMC and deleting them from there. The IceFilm favorites is a bit quirkly with me but thats how I managed to delete favorites that wouldn't delete from within the plug-in.

I also did this when upgrading from a few versions back, don't specifically remember which versions but this has worked great for me as well just in case anyone else is also experiencing this issue.

windows build including the 3 patches
Excellent fine sir, thank you so much for putting this up for us to play with. On one network I've been testing on there are atleast three XBMC's primarily using this while sharing the same IP address across a normal completely free MU account. Previously when one box was streaming it maxed out the concurrent download limit which shafted the other clients, what's neat with this is for the more popular content depending on network traffic it only takes roughly 5-6 minutes to clear a 700mb file, as expected about half for the more popularly released 350mb files. This means that a few minutes into watching something for one user the download is finished an the account is open again for another user to start a show with.

While this isn't perfect for the times when there's multiple simultaneous access attempts the downtime for whoever jumped on 2nd or 3rd is no worse then a single standard commercial break. Now instead of the number of parallel downloads being the issue, depending on how much 720p content is flying around I assume one might run into the freebie account down limit instead. Though given I've just started testing this out I've not really had time to find out.

Patadas Wrote:I had problems running this build. Its indicate that is missing msvcr100d.dll, it can be found here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3XNZGY6C.
Needed not only msvcr100d.dll but msvcp100.dll as well from inside a few Windows 7 SP1 boxes. If you're currently streaming something in the background while reading this an are looking for some different places to grab these I simply typed them in at google an found more then a few sources. First to popup that I used:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-fi...?msvcr100d
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-fi...l?msvcp100

I'm running AdBlock Plus, Flashblock, & NoScript to name a few so those links were advertising free for me at the time of posting this though I'm not really sure how the less prepared may fare so forum readers/downloaders be cautioned. (I say that because NoScript has an entire stack of stuff it's not allowing to run from there)

kalel90 Wrote:...except this build of xbmc doesn't show images like any at all no background images, addon images nothing except for the ui itself. But!! The buffer works awesomely...
All of the images are also broken in my tests as well but the rest appears to be working excellently!

COMPLETELY!! Again, thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts you've put in. Can't wait to see what's coming with future continued development.

PooL0 Wrote:Hi!
You have made a great job to this script

I just got one little problem, when i just bought a premium account on megaupp.. now when i try to add i subtitle to the movie its doesnt work anymore. But when is logged out from the account it works perfectly.

Posted this for some days ago and i think you missed itSmile

thanks one more time!!Laugh
I have the exact same problem. When I turn off premium account I am able to add local subtitle, but when it's on it hangs XBMC. XBMC Subtitle Add-on works fine even with premium, but the problem is when the movie is split in 3 parts, I have to adjust whole subtitle with Subtitle Workshop and then put that local subtitle file in XBMC via audio button and then browse for subtitle. That's when the whole XBMC freezes.

yeah, not really sure how to remedy the subtitle thing, as i never use them.

i'm accepting patches to the python code though.

i'm fairly selfish when it comes to features, as i do not have a lot of time to devote to coding, so i'm sticking to mainly administering the project and maintaining the addon / bugfixing.

this plugin is so awesome, i'm sure a few people could step up to help add some features.

btw, its thanks to westcoast13 that the next version will have a whole slew of cool new things.
(he learnt python just to improve this addon)

It's just strange that it works _without_ a premium account and it doesn't work with paid MU. What is the difference between free and premium streaming?

Thank you very much! I'll continue testing after I get some more free time but so far I've not heard any complaints though giving a few seconds after one client finishes downloading before the next client starts up seems to give a much smoother experience for the additional connections past the first. It could very well just be situational over here so take it with a grain of salt for now. Smile

So I am running the last plugin obtained from anarchintosh's repo on Ubuntu 10.04... It all worked great up until the point where the streaming begins, and then I got this:

<log entries coming soon>

I simply changed the name argument to a hardcoded string so that I can get my fix of Dollhouse for the evening, and could not notice any real loss of functionality in doing so. One other feature that is broken (and this one isn't so 'critical') is the 'Favorites' ... I added a few series of episodes from the contextual menu, but when trying to access the favourites list I get this:

16:49:01 T:2687806320 M:463011840 ERROR: Traceback (most recent call last):

Is there a place where I can log these as bugs ? Is this happening to other people? These bugs don't seem Linux specific but I don't know python at all...

Even with all the minor glitches, this has to be hands down, the best thing since sliced bread! Kudos to devs!!!

I tried this but the patch doesn't appear to be working, no buffering progress and cannot skip forward or backwards.. and actually quite a few things gone wrong when using Aeon MQ2 skin, Confluence is ok which I believe right now is the only place we can see the buffer progress bar?

Now I see the download link does not work, any ideas?
