Question:
When selecting the Popular category it returns results listed in date order (I assume). Is there a way to add an option to sort alphabetically? 90 percent of the stuff I watch ends up in the Popular category and it would just make it easier to find everything.

it just lists them in the order it appears on the icefilms page it scrapes... (which is in number of views order). i tried to make the addon mimic the site as much as possible. plus i dont know how i could code a rearranging Popular into A-z order function.
if all goes to plan, next version will include a search function, which should alleviate the amount of browsing one has to do in the addon to find a film. |

Hey anarchintosh, again awesome job. I am so giddy every time I fire up your addon.
One request I had, can you make like an overall page, much like the icefilms homepage. I don't know if anyone else does this, but I keep up to date on my shows by seeing what the front page shows me (since its mainly the popular shows in the order of days they premiered). I only ever look for a show alphabetically when i want to watch a bunch in a row. Also, the front page is a hybrid of all the categories, and there are usually staff picks, which I enjoy. Thanks for the consideration... Even though I know you didn't want to take on this addon by yourself, i think you're doing an amazing job, and everyone here is gracious. |

yo dangerflakes, I never thanked u for letting me know that megaup had removed captcha/ waiting time. thats ultimately what made this addon possible for my poor coding skills.
i also received the go-ahead from icefilms people to make this addon edit: get 0.4.0 from repository, its now got a homepage category. i could only include the links that appear on the left of the page, no staff picks unfortunately, unless you can persuade them to also add it to the left of the page

Mr. Anarchintosh, you are awesome. I agree with HTPC guy, but I don't have cable. If I did, I would think the same thing.
One question. What folder does it save it's cache? I'd like to have the cache folder be in another drive in PC. p.s. If there's any way I can help, do not hesitate to ask? XBMC just became even more amazing with icefilms add-on. |

i actually used the built in XBMC streaming python module, which 'just worked' so i dont know where its cached to. in a future version i intend to change the functionality of the addon so that they are cached to a folder of your choice.
i find it frustrating to not be able to decide that i want to save a file. |
