darkther4py Wrote:Hi, I'm not sure if this has been covered but I have a small issue with the Icefilms plugin.. I too have it installed on my AppleTV2, and have it hooked up to a 2TB Nas Drive. Streaming content works fine no problems at all, and downloading movies directly to the AppleTV's flash space works perfectly.
The problem I've got is when I try to save the downloads to my Nas Drive, I can navigate to the folder I want to download to in the plugins config page but when I try to start a download it does nothing.

Check the iOS forum, apparently saving to a network drive is not supported - nothing to do with Icefilms

I could be wrong, but go search in that forum first just to make sure

I have premium MU, clear the cache, setup advancedsetting.xml. The movies play smooth but you can still see pauses in frame and audio.

I tried to create a folder for download but the option is gray out...

any guidance would be appreciated.

Are you playing 720p movies?

If so that's your issue for the choppiness, it's a limitation of ATV and the format Icefilms puts their HD videos in

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with my apple tv. I am able to watch 1 movie or tv show however if i want to watch anything after that the mega upload loading screen comes up like normal then it says "working" on the bottom right of the screen. However nothing plays and just puts me back to the source screen. So in order to watch another movie I either have to back all the way out of XBMC and sometimes it will let me play another. Otherwise, i have to do the "killall AppleTV". Also, before i replaced the new megaroutines.py file i couldn't watch any tv shows at all but after i replaced it, it let me watch them but just 1 episode at a time. Please help. Thanks

Yes, I am playing 720p movie.

Within the context menu of the "list of source" for MU, there is an "download" and a "download with Jdownloader" options. Do any of these work on ATV2?

The download option work as i've used it but not sure on the Jdownloader one. Don't see why not.

Look through/post a log to see if there are any errors etc.

When you download it, where does it go? Also does it have to be deleted after or will it disappear when XBMC is closed?

So getting a megaupload premium account wont help playback with HD?

There is a jDownloader plugin for XBMC. It acts as a remote control, of sorts, to the desktop version. So to download, with the desktop version up, you would choose to download with jDownloader and the download starts on the desktop. I don't know if it works in Eden.
