Video lag issue, not throughout the entire video
#1
I was watching the movie Sunshine and last time i watched it before i upgraded my PC it played smoothly but now i have a new system, I7 930 Corsair 6gb Dominator, MSI GTX 465 1gb Twin Frozr II. Anyway, i was watching it today and during certain scenes the video would lag badly and some scenes it would slow down but not as badly. This also happens with other videos but not many. I tried adjusting the interlacing methods and such in the video settings but i'm not sure if it is helping at all. Here is my debug log i have version 9.11

I guess the script link isn't working, maybe this will

Could it be because i am using a 25-30ft HDMI cable? I was watching a show and at some parts the frame rate would drop noticeably for a few seconds or so and then go back to normal. I have tried adjusting the video decoding/processing options and nothing has helped.

That doesn't seem likely given the speed of light :-)

If you press O ("oh" not "zero") you'll see various info about the playback. Watch the CPU and see if it goes to 100% during the probblem scenes. XBMC v9.11 doesn't support hardware acceleration on Windows so the CPU has to do all the work.
