I'm experiencing the exact same issue with shadows left/right edge and exagerated ghosting.
Using Windows XBMC, Windows 7, AMD 7750, and a Samsung UE-46D8005 LED LCD TV.
My WD Live TV HUB can play back the same files with out any issues, so it seems to be a XBMC issue.
