What third-party media manager software options are available out there for XBMC use?

Question
So I've been using Ember Media Manager for awhile now, and for the most part, i'm happy with it except for a few qurirks, but i'd like to know what else is out there and if anybody likes a particular program better than others.

As a follow up, (and I may be going against forum conduct here), let's say you've already scraped a movie / tv show for info, and XBMC has been updated, but you decide to change the fan art / poster. How do I get XBMC to recognize the new images?

As an addendum, I've searched but can't come up with an exact list of what files are necessary for a clean library.
Ex. Moves -
foo.avi (actual movie file)
foo.jpg (poster file)
foo.fanart.jpg (fan art file)

etc....

thanks!

mythicalLibrarian leaves the poster art and fan art to XBMC as it automates that anways. mythicalLibrarian creates comskip V1 files to mark the commercials and a XML file to identify any other information about the show and the series.. ie..
tvshow.xml
foo.xml
foo.txt
foo.avi
mythicalLibrarian only works with MythTV though.

It's not necessary to specify the poster or fan art if you specify movie name and year. XBMC automates that. IE.. foo (2010).avi

For TVShows, all that is necessary is Title(year)/SxxExx.mpg

XBMC allows you to select the poster and fan art in it's settings.
Use mythicalLibrarian to make a library out of your MythTV files. Leave the recording to MythTV and use XBMC as your library.

Try Media Companion.

Been using it for ages and works well for me. Never took to ember personally.

You can find the info on the wiki, for example the info on Nfo files http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Imp...rt_Library

I'm not sure where I got the info on image file naming (and could not find it on the wiki now), but it goes something like this ...

* Movies
medianame.avi (the actualy video)
medianame.nfo (info file)
folder.jpg (poster)
medianame.tbn (poster)
medianame-fanart.jpg (fanart)

* TV Series
folder.jpg (poster/banner for the series)
seriesname.jpg (fanart for the series)
tvshow.nfo (series nfo file)
seasonxxx.tbn (season banner, where xxx is season number)
ssxee_episodename.avi (episode, ss=season, ee=episode .. there are other formats)
ssxee_episodename.nfo (nfo file for the episode)
ssxee_episodename.tbn (fanart/thumb for the episode)

The various skins also have their own requirements for image file names, depending on what extra features they add.
Found some more on wiki
