I have no idea how to delete files in the new 10.0 live XBMC
In the older 9.11 this was no a problem

Enable the option to delete and rename files
Then push info on my remote and the context menu gives the option "delete"

Now in 10.0 this fails with <info>ContextMenu</info> in keymap.xml
It works if I push 'c' on my normal keyboard.

I think it should go in <global> and then <remote>
is that correct ?

besides thatis there maybe an easy way to delete files without the context menu ?

try "guide" if you have that on the remote.

Guide and menu bring me back to the main screen of XBMC

In music the info key bring up the song information
even though I set it as <info>ContextMenu</info> in mymusicfiles

In video the info key does nothing

I used my keymap.xml from version 9
Maybe this won't work under Dharma ?

I justed checked with irw:
key = "Guide" gives context menu in 10.0 default setting. You can do it anyway you want but you may struggle to get support for v9 maps in v10. Especially if you dont mention it.....

What I just did was delete keymap.xml from the userdata folder assuming XBMC has the default settings without this file. I also verified that guide is mapped properly on my harmony.

Then I rebooted XBMC and selected a movie in the video's.
I pushed guide and I brought me back to the XBMC home screen.

Can I have your 10.0 keymap.xml file to try ?

Start a Debug Log.

tail -f the log.

Press the guide button.

See what button XBMC thinks it is.

Map that button to context menu.

dont have one. I have remote.xml & keyboard.xml.

If I push guide on my harmony I get this and it goes home

If I push info on my harmony I get this (cut out my name and psw)
On the screen nothing happens.

This is without anything like keymap.xml, lirc.xml, remote.xml, keyboard.xml
Most settings pretty much work out of the box so I guess I don't need them
never worked with Lirc anyway

Ok solved

My first remote was a Pinnacle and kept the settings in my harmony
I know now that it is slightly different from the MCE remote

ok=select
back=return
etc

Anyway guide was guide but did not work
Now with MS MCE settings in the Harmony it works fine
