m2ts subtitles vanish too fast in XBMC 10.00

That proves there's an issue with ffmeg then if it doesn't work with it's own player and should be easy for them to reproduce with a sample. State on your ticket that you tried with ffplay and the version you installed, that should hopefully get it more attention from the ffmeg developers as they can't simply state it's an 3rd party application issue or that they can't test it.

i used your sample if you dont mind..
i tried sample too and indeed, its the same issue im seeing

That's probably a better deal opening up a new ticket. No i don't mind you using the sample that's why i put it up.
I was messing around with subs last night, movies that i would extract forced from the rest of subs. Sure enough
the same flashing subs but when i left the pgs sub alone and muxed it it worked just fine in xbmc. I thought maybe a new version of
BDSup2Sub would fix the problem but it doesn't we still need a fix.

At least it now says on the ticket (reproduced by developer: yes) so they now know there is a problem and can see it them selves.

They talk about it on this page http://ffmpeg.org/bugreports.html but i'm not sure exactly what they want.
I'll look more when i get home from work.

Yea found that too..
Now i launch the sample file with ffplay...
They want the output but i dont know how to get that..
I just rightclick the sample file and chose to open it with ffplay.. But this, you should add some sort of commands...
We definetely need to add this output if we want to get it fixed

It seems a patch has been found.. Now how do we get this in xbmc?

Now we bug people here in the xbmc world to incorporate this fix into a nightly or monthly build.
That is once ffmpeg i guess release another version with the fix in it?

See i new this problem would get fixed just had to ask around in the correct places and get some smart people on it.
Once we get the fix put into xbmc code then we can celebrate.Nod
