'Ere, wheres me sound gone?

All system sounds and stuff, gawn.

No idea why, appearance has default sounds set and sound settings all set to come out the right holes.

Audio for actual TV/Movies is just fine, its my navigation sounds that went south. Restarting the mac has not helped.

I actually worked this out and it is to my advantage. I had ther audio out on my mac set to a USB dac, XBMC happily played my films etc through the standard audio out which is what I want leaving the usb dac for my music from another application.

So that was nice.
