Update beta to official release
#1
I rebuilt my Acer Revo 1600 with XBMC Live a few days before the official Dharma release. It works like a champ but occasionally hangs especially while playing Grooveshark or Pandora. Does anyone know if this is a plugin issue or if this is because of XBMC (beta) and has been fixed in the final release? I suspect it is the plugin but wanted to try updating XBMC just to rule that out.

However, I am not sure if I can do an apt-get update via putty or if there is an easier way within XBMC (via an add-on) to upgrade XBMC itself?

Thanks for any pointers.

apt-get update xbmc

via terminal is still the way to go as long as you have the proper ppa added
OpenElec Standalone --> Asus Chromebox 'Panther' --> Onkyo TX-NR709 --> Sony 55" X85C Android TV (also with Kodi!)
Asus Chromebox EZ Script
Kodi on Sony Bravia Android TVs
