Hi I'm running XBMC (Pre 10.5) for Windows 7 on an Atom/Ion. I run Audio and video out via HDMI to an Onkyo amp which then goes to my TV and speakers.

Works a treat with video playing 1080p mkv fine but I can't seem to get music to work. Audio in video works fine but it's just files in my music library. I hit play and nothing happens. When I try and play using the official XBMC iPhone app the app crashes on the phone though XBMC itself remains responsive.

I have iTunes set up on my machine and that plays all the audio fine as does media player classic so I don't think it's a codec issue or anything to do with the way that HDMI is handling the audio.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I think there's a handshaking issue with onyko/xbmc and nvidia. Not getting this on any other windows apps.
