I will setup a new ASRock to my father. I only found the new 3D version... Mine I use wired network, but I will need to run WiFi in this new unit.

So, let me ask: anybody is using the linux driver?
Searching Realtek's site, I've found this file: rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20101111.zip

Suppose to works with the card 8192SU, using wpa_supplicant (my father's wifi is WPA2+AES).

What's the better (simpler and stable) way: ndiswrapper or Linux driver? I did a try with ndiswrapper a few years ago and, let's say, I'm a little traumatized. Obvious, it should be much more developed now....

The Realtek 8192 USB Wireless Firmware is in the wrong place (XBMC Live). Copy to right place

So, isn't needed install the driver from the Realtek site? Just copy it to the right place?

Anyway, I'm running ubuntu minimal install... Don't know if this OS have the same problem from Live install.
