So, let me ask: anybody is using the linux driver?
Searching Realtek's site, I've found this file: rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20101111.zip
http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloa...#RTL8192SU
Suppose to works with the card 8192SU, using wpa_supplicant (my father's wifi is WPA2+AES).
What's the better (simpler and stable) way: ndiswrapper or Linux driver? I did a try with ndiswrapper a few years ago and, let's say, I'm a little traumatized. Obvious, it should be much more developed now....
Cheers and thanks in advance for any advice!!
The Realtek 8192 USB Wireless Firmware is in the wrong place (XBMC Live). Copy to right place
Code:
cp -R /lib/firmware/RTL8192SE /lib/firmware/RTL8192SU
