Improved wireless connectivity

I have my movies located on a W7 PC hooked directly to my Linksys 600N router. When I try to access movies wirelessly, the experience is not good (hanging... waiting).

What can I do to improve this ?

802.11N *should* be enough to stream HD content if you have a good enough signal. Can you confirm that kind of data rate you get over the wireless? Presumably you have the movies stored on the Win7 box and you're playing them on another device - how well do they play if you plug the player directly into the network.

For what it's worth, I agree completely with maxinc - wireless is convenient, but if you want to run a network you simply cannot beat copper. It just works.

Wireless is for people with no other options. Unfortunately, that's a lot of people Sad

Beats every internal wireless card ever made.
