Unfortunately there have been some changes to Pandora's website that have made this version useless. There is a currently working version here.

There are 2 skins in the version linked above. One is the default skin and another is one that I made based off of the Android Pandora app. There are plans to remake the Pandora addon and I will likely make another Alaska version if there is demand for it.

Hi htpc guy,

I know this thread is a bit old but I just got Pandora working on my new AppleTV and just wanted to say this Pandora skin looks awesome. I'm aware it no longer functions and have tried a few things to make it work without much luck.

Any plans on releasing an updated version? If not any tips on how I might convert it?

Thanks!

Eventually I will get around to skinning Pandora again but I don't know if I will do it with an Alaska theme. I kept putting it off because I was waiting for Pandora's site redesign. I didn't want to work on it since I was unsure if the Pandora addon would be broken or not. Now that the site is redesigned and the addon is still working I'm thinking that I should give it another try. Unfortunately, right now my free time is reserved for two iOS games I'm helping to create. Its paid work so it takes priority. When I'm finished with these projects I'll take another swing at it. Its definitely going to take some time so feel free to give it a go if you like.

I used the original textures from Alaska to replace the ones in \XBMC\addons\xbmc-pandora\resources\skins\Default\media

Feel free to use my files from the first post

Then I had to modify the xml files:

\xbmc-pandora\resources\skins\Default\720p\script-pandora
\xbmc-pandora\resources\skins\Default\skin

Well, now that I"m looking at this it might not take too long to fix this. Just be patient with me.

Wow, that was fast, thanks!! Big Grin

I'm at work now but I'll be installing this update tonight when I get home. Thanks for working on this, will definitely make Pandora fit in with the rest of XBMC.

Just got a chance to download and install this but it looks like the resources.zip file is missing the \xbmc-pandora\resources\skins\Default\720p\script-pandora XML file? Without that file I get a script error when I try to open Pandora.

I tried moving the script-pandora.xml from the NTSC folder over to the 720p folder but that made everything very small... I also tried using the default 720p\script-pandora.xml file but with that everything was in the wrong place...

Can you post your 720p\script-pandora.xml file or let me know what I might be missing here?

Thanks!

Actually, last night I realized that it worked on my main pc (win7 running Eden) but when I copied the files over to my htpc running dharma it didn't work. I'll do some digging to see what's going on. Give me some time though.

No worries. Anything you can do to make this work is cool. And if not no big deal, can always just use the default theme.

Thanks

I've got the issue sorted. I even made a new theme, which you can find in the pandora thread. I just need to do this again for the Alaska theme. I'm trying to find the time. It will be soon though.
