Hi,
i have a problem with XBMC, often when i enter directories or "pictures", "videos" my XBMC freezes completly for about 30 seconds.
Not even the debug information moves.
All the directories are on my Local HDD.

Maybe someone knows what i can do.

When debug does start to dump something does it dump a TON of stuff all at once?

The loging is normal and at "DEBUG: ParentPath = []" it stops
after about 30 seconds it stops freezing and the log goes on.
Just like the timestapms in the log shows.

The startup from XBMC takes a long time, too.

If this helps:
I'm using windows 7 x64
CPU: Intel 6750 (2x 2,66 ghz)
RAM: 4 gigabyte

edit: i don't even have a directory added to "pictures" and it takes about 30 seconds to open it

It takes about 30 seconds to start xbmc and the logfile is created wheren it starts not after lunching it.

I ran into a similar problem when I was messing with my audio output. Do you have the default audio on your machine set to something funky that doesn't exist? (shot in the dark)

Could also be that you have network drives that are no longer available. (another shot in the dark)

Thanks ! i found out, whar makes it slow.
I removed some old telephone drivers and there was a not longer aviable network share connected.

one of those did it!
