Possibility to navigate DVD-Video menu using web server interface and JSON-RPC API?

I just wondered if it was possible to navigate DVD menus using the web interface.

I've got an old PC I've setup as a media centre. I use the web interface from my laptop to play music / videos. The problem I'm having is that my DVD rips still have the menus, and I can't work out how to navigate the menus using the web interface. I feel like there's something really obvious that I'm missing, but googling isn't helping me.
