Mouse does not disappear during playback
#1
Hi

Windows 7 64bit, XBMC v10.0. Mouse used to disappear when playback or no use, now mouse stays static on screen.

This a bug with this version?

By design I think. The mouse disappears as soon as there is any keyboard input.

The mouse should automatically disappear after a certain time.

Mmmmm not experiencing this..

What i do is simply click on escape on the kb which removes the play options along the top (Confluence). This in turn removes the cursor.

HTH.

will give it a try but i know the previous version hid the mouse after a certain time, v10 does not.

If you don't need the mouse then you could just turn off mouse control from the settings. I found that once you get used to the keyboard it's much more efficient that using a mouse anyway.

When I saw your post I checked my copy of XBMC and I found that the mouse wasn't disappearing. However I've just checked again and the mouse now disappears after about 6 seconds. Weird.
