looking for something along the lines of the launchbrowser for local media. if someone knows of anything good for music videos (locally stored) please list some scripts.
the launchbrowser would be nice if it could read files stored on the network instead of just the inet

umm....just mount a smb share in your "my videos" menu....
its all in the manual.

my videos is a launchbrowser for local media shared or on hdd. what more do you want?
i suggest requesting a python script if it is not good enough for you, but good luck finding a coder that would bother with it.

i know thats how i have it setup, but a frontend gui for it much like the launchbrowser would be alot better for when;
want to search for a clip, genre, newly added, fav, etc etc.
got what i mean now?

im sure there wouldnt be too much work to convert the launchbrowser.py for local media. you could always drop the creator an email. (no i dont know it)

you could edit the myvideos.db file and create some new genre's for the music etc.. a lot of work and kinda hard to update for each music video but it would work nicely.
