steps to get it to work:
- download the script here: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/dharma/script.qlock/
- enable it in Skin Settings > Scripts > Enable Qlock script
- navigate to the Weather button on the Home Menu.

Hi Guys, I must be stupid but I can't get it to work, I downloaded the script and put it the addons folder.

I launched XBMC and went to Skin Settings > Scripts > but there is no mention of qlock.

What am I missing?
Thanks

Are you using the svn version on T!

also make sure your svn version is up to date.

the qlock is shown when the weather button on the home menu is focused.

As clever as it is I just don't get it. Huh

It takes longer to read the time from this than it does to look at the actual clock in XBMC. Wink

EDIT: Please don't think I'm knocking the work out in to this by the way. Big Grin

agreed, it serves no purpose, but it's a nice piece of eyecandy. ;-)

So I was not up to date on the SVN for T! and haven't found a newer XBMC svn than the release version
It is now enabled but does not show the time?
What next ? Are there any other settings I haven't found?

try if restarting xbmc helps.

if not:
- enable debug logging
- restart xbmc
- post Debug Log on pastebin

I'd rather see it in between X & O's games... then it has a better purpose; clock watching on the sly, waiting for a guest to arrive.

doesn't look like a Debug Log to me.

you need to enable it:
Settings > System > Debugging > Enable debug logging
