USB automounting is not working
#1
Hi guys,
i have one issue which is making me crazy for almost month.
I'm not able to persuade my XBMC Live to automount USB mass storage devices (pen drives, discs, and so on).
I was trying to make it run on ubuntu 10.10 minimal but no success. I was trying to make clean installation with new XBMC live, but no succes too.
I have removed nodiscmount from /default/grub with update-grub after, but no result.
I was trying to install usbmount, but it doesn't work too.
Disc is correctly recognized, but it's not mounted - i have no problem to mount it manually or to put it to fstab, but it's not what i want. I want automatic mounting.
Is there anybody who knows what to do?

I can confirm that this works out of the box in xbmcLive10. I am sure it is possible to break it so try with a clean install.

I'm kind of idiot. I have changed usb cable and it works in clean install. Kill me, please.
