Migrating to a new Windows installation
#1
I currently run Win7 64bit and XBMC 10.0. I recently purchased a SSD and will be reinstalling Windows to take advantage of it. What's my best method of moving my XBMC install over to the new system? I'm debating just moving the %userdata%\XBMC folder to my server and copying it back, or doing a completely new XBMC install. I've been using XBMC for awhile and have just done upgrades on top of existing installs.

Some questions I have:
- If I'm not having any issues with XBMC currently, is there any advantage of doing a brand new install?
- If I do end up going with a new installation, what is the best method of maintaining my video and music libraries, especially watched tags?
- Are there any tips/tricks/configuration I need to do when using XBMC on a SSD?

All of my media files are on my server, 95% with fanart and nfos (some movies are missing it but I figure I can get around that by exporting my library).
