Hi all, im new to this forum and to xbmc. I used it for 2 weeks now with no problems till suddenly my movies dont work anymore. When i press a movie i havo to wait very long before it sais playback failed.

Because i didnt made any changes to my laptop and the programm is new i dont have any clue. I made a debug log and hope someone could help me with this problem. If you need more information please tell me.

In this tread the same problem is discussed. Unfortunally no solution is mentioned. My movies will play with just windows media player. But with XBMC im still getting the same error (playback failed).

Uninstalled XBMC en reinstalled it. No solution though, it still sais playback failed.

Google for hours but no results.

Anyone a clue perhaps?

The problem is solved but i don't know for how long.

I simply reinstalled XBMC and transferred my files to anothor map on my harddisk. In XBMC i had update library completely. Thank God all files work now but i dont have a clue why they suddenly work and why they at first didnt want to play.

My advice, try to transfer the files to another map or on another partion. That might help.
