When XBMC comes up the background page is too big for the screen IT looks as though there is text going across the bottom on the screen adn the time is up on top but I can only see about 1/4 of the text...the rest being off the screen. I tried changing resolution within XBMC but hitting the up and down arrows wouldn't change the 1280x720 resolution. I tried overscan but that barely seemed to do anything one way or another. I went -/+ 20 and no change. Do I have to go -/+ 200 and something to get it to fir properly?
Thanks

My 42" LCD TV is configured to strip off 10% of the picture, specifically the top/bottom/left/right parts. After digging into the TV's menu system I was able to turn off this feature and have it display 100% of the picture.
I did not change anything on the XBMC/computer side. |

The Samsung should do 1:1 Pixel mapping. On my Samsung it is called "screen fit."

We're on our third Samsung LCD TV ... and we've always just adjusted the XBMC Appearance settings ... Zoom -4 ... and that's always worked great for us.

in picture menu of the samsung tv, look for an option that says 16:9 or something like that, change it to scanning or something liek that. Should work.
