Hi so im fairly new to XBMC and Linux. So far what ive done is:
follow "Installing XBMC Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic or higher"

follow installing LCDproc

and i got everything set up down to enabling LCD in system. However the menu option does not exist and after research i find out its now been moved to guisettings.xml. However i dont have a guisetting.xml. Ive also come to realise that everyone seems to have xbmc in /home/xbmc/ however as far as i can tell xbmc for me is in usr/share/xbmc/. Any help would be much appreciated as it is fairly frustrating and i am fairly new.
