Looking at picking out my case, but I'm running into an issue i have not been able to search to find.

I need to know if you can remove the feet from a Silverstone GD05 case to lessen the height requirements. My stupid TV stand(ikea) is too short to allow for standard height AV equipment to fit. So for my receiver, I had to remove the feet to get it to clear.

For super duper bonus points, if you doooo have a GD05, and you arrreeee able to take the feet off... if you could measure the new height requirements, that would be amazing!

I need 5.4"

Hey Krelkor,

I recently finished an HTPC build in a GD05. I just measured it and it is:

5 13/16" high with feet, and about,

5 9/16" high without feet.

I would say there is no way you can fit this case in a 5.4" space. Also, there is an air vent it the top rear of the case that needs some space to exhaust air.
