Use PCIe splitter in Apple TV
#1
Hi

Just bought a Apple TV box, and planning on modding it.
I want to add the BCM970015 HD card.
But I want to keep the wireless function.

Anybody know if it`s possible to use a PCIe splitter like this:

Think, with a bit of work, that I could fit both cards inside the box.
And I would prefer that, to an external solution.

Pretty cool device. I doubt you will be able to fit that inside though.

You might want to use a wireless USB stick. It is probably a cheaper and easier option.

Nice, you could stick two crystalhd's on it. or an nvidia card that's capable of vdpau.

Bedroom: Amazon FireTV Stick / Kodi 14.2
Home Office: Amazon FireTV Stick / Kodi 14.2
Windows Server: Intel Core i3-2100T / 8GB Ram / 48TB / MySQL / StableBit DrivePool on Server 2012 R2 Standard

I'm assuming you're making a joke?

I doubt your driver supports 2 CrystalHDs?

Knowing you (virtually speaking), it probably does. Wink
