This appears to be an issue when installing on 4.1 ... I updated to 4.2 and the error disappeared .

pbjr Wrote:Hello, need some help too. Says I need "org.awkwardtv.whitelist"? Is that another apt source? I followed the wiki off the home page and it did not mention that step. I'm going to see if I can add it myself. thanks! this info helped me. not sure why the wiki doesn't have that info. you think they should have expected people to pickup an atv2 and just jailbreak it for this! |

Hi guys. Been following XBMC for years. Decided to join and thank everybody for their work.
I tried to installed XBMC per instructions on a ATV2G 4.1(4.0 in About) but was not successful. ATV2G has Plex, NitoTV, Groovy, Overflow and others but didnt install XBMC. RSN-ATV:~ root# apt-get install org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2: Depends: org.xbmc.xbmc-seatbeltunlock but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages RSN-ATV:~ root# The response is INMMEDIATE so I tried to load seatbeltunlock but get other erros about bsdiff not installable, etc. Does anybody know why? I dont want to install it on FW 4.2.1 since its tethered and got kids at home who cant do a reboot if necessary. |
