have been using XBMC on the old xbox for years, so I am happy to hear XBMC now runs on ipad, but before I start Jailbroken it, then one question:

Do TV-out works?

I've tried without success, but I haven't heard any official word on it yet. It's probably something being looked into though I'd guess.

Just install Display Out, it works perfectly with XBMC. You'll just have to zoom a little bit in the settings of the app.

I am curious if they plan to have any native support for video output in xbmc on ipad or iphone. The vga adapter can output up to 720p. I have a pico projector I would love to be able to plug the iphone 4 into and output 720p.

i have display out myself and I am going to try iphone and ipad output. It would be nice to be able to control the resolution for tv output from with-in xbmc.

yes, tv / video audio out would be awesome. Now especially with the HDMI adapter that is out now.
