I used to use media portal before I upgraded to windows 7, then I used the windows7 media player ,and although it works fine it is to plain for me.
I finally got around to installing XBMC and followed the instructions posted here
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=37996 (HOW-TO use Hauppauge 45) but I couldn't get the power button (grn button) to load up xbmc. after looking more closely at the irremote.ini I decided to try this

and then added this in the

[XBMC]

this works start up the xbmcc and everything seems to work fine except for when I push the grn button again to shut down the xbmc, what happens is I always end up having to do a soft shutdown, meaning that I have to crtl alt delete then kill the xbmc .
what have I done wrong and how can I fix this ?
