I have try to search for this feature but i have not found it, so i try to request it instead and hope someone find it really smart as i do. As this is the only time i need this so 
What about in Android and iPhone telephones, i use Android when and i always have my phone on the 0% light to save the battery do to the fact that the display is always whats eat up my battery.
Anyways it would be nice and awesome if you could set in Kodi, that when you open it it automatic change the light to (x%) automatic and i also have set the phone to have "Adaptive brightness" and this also need to have a option to turn it off else it won´t work to set 100% light for Kodi automatic.
Anyways it would be really nice instead of do this manually every time you open the software and watch a series or movie on the "bus/train" or whatever you do it
