Quick question. I just upgraded to the latest version 10.0.9, but I still have the older version of ios on my ATV2. Before I did the upgrade I had a network share mapped for all the movies stored on my centralized server. Now when I go to videos (or any of the items beneath it such as Movies, library, etc) the screen just goes black. If I hit menu on the remote it does return me to the home screen. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can try besides just updating to the newer version of ios, as I would like to use that as a last resort. Thanks!

The latest version works only the PM3-HD skin, change it and fix the fault.

I was wondering if I could request a link to the below thread be added to the FAQ and perhaps the link to the file which hpman247 uploaded be added, as I found this to be incredibly useful for navigating through films with the ability to ffwd 10 minutes etc. and I would imagine this would be greatly helpful for others too.

I put it in /private/var/root.

Also, unless you're renaming your file, it might not be called latest_atv2.deb - for instance, the latest official is called org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_10.0-9_iphoneos-arm.deb. Just a heads-up.

I suggest /private/var/tmp since it will clean itself out upon reboot, in case you forget to delete it.

thanks. I put copied it over to that dir and use the dpkg -i latest_atv2.deb and it unpacked.


/private/var/tmp didn't work though. Not sure how to use it the command to install it from that dir

hi all

I have official build of June 23rd and it's working great. GUI it's faster and everything seems to be working just great.

But, I'm having a weird issue with my Music Library. I added a source and scan it. Scan were fine, but when I tell XBMC to refresh all artists info, all artists have the info of the first artist, in my case, Aerosmith, that was refreshed. The weird thing is that fan art and thumb are correct for the artist.

Anyone else with this issue?

XBMC official build up and running on my iPad2 now

Hi I am new to the XBMC and am having a hard time enjoying the software because of one issue.

For the life of me I cannot get XMBC to stop kicking me back to the ATV main page. It could be 5 mins, 30 mins, 1 min, who knows but inevitably at some point it will kick out. I have read through countless threads and cannot seem to find a clear fix. Is anyone else having this problem? I am running 10.0-9, I've disabled apple update, screen saver all that stuff.
