When adding a source on my ATV2 which is an UPnP source the files never get added to my library. Is this support or am I missing something silly?

Once the source is created. Are you able to view your movie files in List view?
If you can, you simple need to tell XBMC to start scraping your movies. XBMC will begin downloading the pertinent info for each of your movie and adding that to it's database. Once in the database, you will see your Movies Library populated with content.
So from "Videos" hold the menu button for a few seconds and the onscreen menu will pop up. Click on scan for new content.
Once things are set up, you can automate this step. It's an option under settings.
It's also an option you can toggle when you initially created your source. It was in a submenu that you may have missed.
Note: I have heard of XBMC crashing issues when people did the initial scrape of their movies. This occurred on large scaping of movies... >100. If you have a large collection of movies, it may take a while. So be prepare for that.
