I recently upgraded from 9.x to Dharma on my AppleTV and lost audio in almost all my films. I did some troubleshooting and a lot of searching on this forum, but could not find a resolution.
I have now upgraded the OS on the AppleTV from 2.3 to 3.0.2 and the Launcher version is 3.2.5. I re-downloaded XBMC 10.0 and removed all my saved settings and unfortunately I'm stuck with the same problem. If I leave the audio settings to default the audio crashes when I play a file, once back in XBMC there is no navigation audio. Setting up the audio settings properly and I still get no audio in films, but I still get navigation audio after exiting a film. Audio settings are:
Audio Output: Optical/Coax
Speaker Config: 5.1
Boot volume on downmix: Yes
Dolby Dig Capable: Yes
DTS capable: Yes
Audio Output device: Tried both default and Built-in Line Output
I'm using optical and my receiver is a Sony STR-KS1000.
I've tried various files, but the file I keep going back to for testing has the following mediainfo:
AVI: 700MiB, 1h 00mn
Writing Application: Nandub v1.0rc2
Writing Library: Nandub build 1852/release
1 video stream: MPEG-4 Visual (XviD)
1 audio stream: AC-3 (448Kbps, 48KHz, 16 bits, 6 channels)
This file works fine in Boxee.
My xbmc.log is available at:

I think I've covered everything, but please lmk if I can provide any more info.
Thanks,
Nick
