When i play SD video with a lot of movement I see horizontal distortion lines(tearing). I'm using XBMC on an NVIDIA ION based nettop and should be able to play this without any issues.
My previous device, a Popcorn Hour NMT, did not have this issue. I'm using a 55 inch Samsung LCD tv.

During playback, set the deinterlacer to "bob".

When playing a movie, call up the OSD and go to the display options. You will be able to choose the deinterlacing method there, as well as setting the option as default for all playback instead of just for this playback.

Ok, what is it supposed to be set to? I don't see an option called bob.
